I mainly create cute, beautiful, and elegant designs that are perfect for women’s and children’s products. I’m also skilled at incorporating traditional Japanese colors and motifs into modern designs. After graduating from college, I had been working in Tokyo for many years. Since 2020, I’ve been based in Oita, mainly working with my clients online. However, I'm always happy to meet in person if needed—please feel free to reach out anytime!
This design studio name, "MIRU PRINT", comes from the Japanese word miru (見る), which means "to see" or "to view."
I chose this name because I love the moment when people see a product and instantly feel, "How cute!" or "How beautiful!"
My goal is to create designs that spark those joyful, visual impressions at first glance.

Before starting my freelance career, I worked as a designer at an apparel company, mainly handling a French brand.
Later, I also worked as a furisode (formal kimono) designer at a kimono company.
Throughout my teens to my thirties, I dreamed of working abroad as a designer and went to London for 3 months while also being deeply inspired by the beauty of traditional Japanese culture. As a result, I developed a style that blends both Western and Japanese aesthetics.
